Many singers and producers work in bedrooms, spare rooms, apartments, and suburban houses where traffic, neighbours, air conditioners, and reflective walls are part of the environment. The aim is not to make the room perfectly silent. It is to capture a clean, controlled performance that can be shaped in the mix.
